Biography

When theglobal financial sphere detaches itself from traditional centers and digitalassets become a source of economic power, Saqr Mashhor Ereiqat stands asone of the central voices of this movement. As Secretary General of the Dubai Digital Asset Association (D2A2), he co-developed the first Blockchain Strategy of the Government of Dubai and has brought hundreds of companiesinto the UAE ecosystem.
With morethan 20 years of experience in technology and innovation – including 13 yearsat IBM, where he led blockchain projects across 23 countries – Ereiqat combines industrial expertise with strategic foresight. Global players such as DHL, Shell, and the Office of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates count among his partners.
Ereiqat does not view the rise of digital assets as a mere technical addendum, but as the architectural reconstruction of a multipolar financial order. For him, it is not only about tokens or platforms, but about trust, regulation, and value creation within a new global network. His work illustrates how regions such as the Middle East and Africacan benefit from digital transformation – and how Western models must respondto it.
At a timewhen substance, sovereignty, and stability are being redefined, Saqr Mashhor Ereiqat brings a perspective that entrepreneurs and decision-makers cannot afford to ignore: it is no longer just about returns, but about digital infrastructure, about values with lasting global relevance, and about systems that create the power to shape – beyond the old financial logics.
